Graphic Products Releases Free LO/TO Guide

Graphic Products, Inc., whose DuraLabel printers and supplies are used to reinforce workplace safety, is making available a free copy of The Best Practice Guide to: Safety Lockout/Tagout – a life saving procedure in which repairs are made to machines when power sources are removed, locked out, tagged out and isolated. Compliance with OSHA lockout/tagout (LO/TO) standards prevents an estimated 120 fatalities and 50,000 injuries annually.

Included in this colorful guide are chapters about how accidental start-ups occur, a definition of stored energy, steps to install and remove lockout gear, a case study from an environmental health and safety professional plus an overview of commonly used LO/TO products and services. There’s also a section about reducing the number of potential injuries and fatalities possible from entrapment in confined spaces such as tanks and tunnels.

“A large percentage of workplace accidents, as well as OSHA citations, are related to not using LO/TO or not following LO/TO procedures. The new LO/TO best practices guide from Graphic Products aims to reduce accidents by providing foundational information about LO/TO. We've produced this best practices guide for our customers and are happy to make copies available to anyone who needs to learn the basics of LO/TO,” said Steve Hudgik, Director of Corporate Marketing, Graphic Products, Inc.

To get your free copy fill out and submit the form below. Your LO/TO guide will then be emailed to you. http://www.graphicproducts.com/free-gifts/free-safety-loto-bpg.php. More information can be found by visiting http://www.duralabel.com/ or by calling 1-888-326-9244.
