Railroad Safety "Ties" to Lean Continuous Improvement
Railroad safety is not something we typically focus on, but we saw this story from the Association of American Railroads as a shining example of teamwork and innovation.
Note that the biggest safety award went to John Kirwan, a machinist with Union Pacific in Hinkle, Oregon and a practitioner of LEAN continuous improvement, for which we share a passion.
