OSHA Fatality Report For October 2011
This starts the final quarter of 2011 OSHA workplace fatality reports. This months seems to have a lot of fatalities resulting from falls from roofs or buildings. Anytime you are working above ground level be aware that gravity is a killer. Be particularly careful around skylights. Tripping when near a skylight, and falling through the skylight, has killed several people in 2011. And when working on a roof never step on other material (wood, sheet metal, etc.) as that material nay be covering a hole and the material you are stepping on will not support you.
