A summary of OSHA significant citations with proposed fines over $100,000 announced during the week ending December 22nd.

The following are based on a press releases from OSHA and other sources.
There were no OSHA citations issued this past week with proposed fines over $100,000.

The following are the citations announced by OSHA last week.

OSHA only announced four citations last week. These were:

Worldwide Oilfield Machine in Houston was cited for exposing workers to amputation and electrical hazards. ($71,2000)

Lowe's Home Centers Inc. in Killeen, Texas was cited for exposing workers to electrical, other safety hazards. ($55,000)

Fiberglass Structures Inc. was cited for 12 safety violations OSHA claims exposed Laurel, Mont., workers to hazards. ($75,6000)

OSHA cited the U.S. Postal Service following an inspection that resulted from a worker's heat-related death in Independence, MO ($70,000)
