MSN New Zealand reports that:

Workers Don't Understand Safety Rules

An employee survey conducted by BusinessNZ has shown most workers do not fully understand their company's workplace safety rules and couldn't accurately complete hazard report forms.

New Guidance For U.K. Safety Signs

The Fire Industry Association in the U.K. has issued new guidance rules for signs titled Guidance on Fire Safety Signs and Notices.

An article in Workplace Law states

"Designed to help building managers, facility managers, duty holders, responsible persons and FIA members, it explains what is required and gives examples of what signs should be used.

The guidance is divided into two parts:

  • Fire exit and escape route signs
  • Other fire safety signs and notices"
